For optimal underwater photography results, it is advised to maintain the Dive Case's lenses perpendicular to the water's surface, ensuring neither lens is facing upward. Following the shoot, open the files within the Insta360 app or Studio, where they will be automatically designated for Dive Case stitching.
Note: When the camera is removed from the Dive Case, exit Dive Case Mode to ensure the highest image quality. To do so, swipe up on the camera touchscreen or long-press the "Q" button.

The Insta360 X4 Waterproof Dive Case enables you to capture stunning 360° footage underwater, with a waterproof depth of up to 50 m. Designed specifically for the Insta360 X4 camera, this case compensates for water refractions and maintains touchscreen visibility for seamless control.

Invisible Dive Case - Pro Tips
Here's a few pointers to get the best underwater footage with your dive case:
- Remove X4's Lens Guards if installed.
- Turn on Dive Case Mode so the camera automatically adjusts the stitching.
- Place X4 in the case with the screen facing up and the right-hand side buttons aligned with those on the dive case. Check there is no dirt or debris inside the case as this will affect the final result.
- Install the provided anti-fog inserts on both sides of the dive case. These ensure clarity is not compromised.
- Make sure the case is firmly closed—you should hear a click. The anti-fog inserts may move and affect the sealing if it's not closed properly.
- Be careful handling your new case! Just like your camera, try to keep greasy hands, suncream, rocks, and dirt away from your dive case.
The Invisible Selfie Stick is a must-have: it's perfect to film yourself swimming alongside dolphins or sharks, and you can get third-person shots even if you're solo diving!
