The DJI SDR Transmission Receiver is ideal for receiving footage from a camera rig directly onto a monitor or tablet on a small-to-medium-sized shooting set - such as on a very crowded set or among very dense, high-rise architecture that would otherwise overwhelm a consumer-grade Wi-Fi-based solution. On medium-to-large shooting sets, both a transmitter and receiver would be required for high-quality, stable FPV transmission. The footage is transmitted using an SDR (Software Defined Radio) prototype transmission system with tri-bandwidth (DFS, 2.4 GHz, and 5.8 GHz) automatic frequency-hopping, which has high penetration and distances up to 1.9 miles. This SDR receiver pairs with the optional SDR transmitter (not included) to complete the system with the DJI SDR Transmission Receiver.

Broadcast Mode

Using this mode, you can have a system with an unlimited number of receivers. It also supports rapid switching between multiple camera indexes and offers Wi-Fi support for one or two flexible monitoring alternatives as needed.

Control Mode

This mode supports stabilizer control (virtual joystick, gimbal recentering, etc.) and camera control (PTP control and Sony camera virtual menu).
